As part of the visitors center, and out of the aspiration to map Jerusalem through creativity, several projects were created at Beita which deal with different aspects of mapping on the axis between informative and poetic, explanatory and experiential. The map is seen as an object depicting a space and allowing familiarity of the area, and at the same time as expressing mental and aesthetic insights. The map is an element of assemblage, arrangement, and presentation of spacial knowledge, but also an invitation to operate in that space and reshape it.
